Autographed ICED by Karen Marie Moning Giveaway

The Fever Series and Autographed ICED Giveaway

Book Blurbs:
In the blockbuster Fever series, Karen Marie Moning creates a darkly erotic and paranormal world, torn apart by the struggle between humans and Fae. Now in a convenient eBook bundle, here are the five thrillingly sexy novels featuring heroine MacKayla Lane: Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever, Dreamfever, and Shadowfever.

ICED
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Karen Marie Moning comes the first book in her hotly anticipated new urban paranormal trilogy, set in the world of her blockbuster Fever series.
The year is 1 AWC—After the Wall Crash. The Fae are free and hunting us. It’s a war zone out there, and no two days are alike. I’m Dani O’Malley, the chaos-filled streets of Dublin are my home, and there’s no place I’d rather be.
Dani “Mega” O’Malley plays by her own set of rules—and in a world overrun by Dark Fae, her biggest rule is: Do what it takes to survive. Possessing rare talents and the all-powerful Sword of Light, Dani is more than equipped for the task. In fact, she’s one of the rare humans who can defend themselves against the Unseelie. But now, amid the pandemonium, her greatest gifts have turned into serious liabilities.
Dani’s ex–best friend, MacKayla Lane, wants her dead, the terrifying Unseelie princes have put a price on her head, and Inspector Jayne, the head of the police force, is after her sword and will stop at nothing to get it. What’s more, people are being mysteriously frozen to death all over the city, encased on the spot in sub-zero, icy tableaux.
When Dublin’s most seductive nightclub gets blanketed in hoarfrost, Dani finds herself at the mercy of Ryodan, the club’s ruthless, immortal owner. He needs her quick wit and exceptional skill to figure out what’s freezing Fae and humans dead in their tracks—and Ryodan will do anything to ensure her compliance.
Dodging bullets, fangs, and fists, Dani must strike treacherous bargains and make desperate alliances to save her beloved Dublin—before everything and everyone in it gets iced.

Every January I set a goal to start off the year right by re-reading a favourite book or series.  To me January can be bleak. Dark. Cold. Less exciting after the anticipated December holiday season. Once the sparkly dazzling decorations are tucked away for another year the living room looks barren. The bills from Christmas start to trickle in and the thought of not seeing and feeling the bright warm sunshine for months can weigh heavily on my mind. For this reason, I reach for my comfort reads in January.

This past year in October, Karen Marie Moning released ICED. I had 2 autographed copies shipped to me right away but I still have not read it yet. There are a few reasons for that.

One reason is because I wanted to wait until after I re-read the Fever Series so that I can carry straight on with a refreshed story on my mind. (although how could I forget!)

Second reason is because if Karen Marie Moning wrote cliffhanger endings like she did in the Fever Series, there was no way I was touching ICED until the trilogy was done. I understand now that it is not as an angsty of a cliffhanger like the previous series so I am good to read it now. In fact, I am finally getting ready to start right after this post.

If you have not read the Fever Series  what the heck are you waiting for? It is EPIC. There are very very veeeeeerry few series I would actually rate as EPIC and the Fever Series is one of them.

If you have read the Fever Series (or are now planning too) and would like to have an autographed hardcover of ICED  well you are in luck! As I said earlier on in this post, I ordered 2. One for me, and one for a blog giveaway for you!

It will probably cost a lot to ship ICED so for that reason, I need to keep this giveaway to just US and Canada. Sorry!

This autographed hardcover giveaway of ICED will be held all January long. Rafflecopter will randomly select the winner on February 1st.

My all time favorite series is Georgina Kincaid by Richelle Mead. I may need to reread it sometime. :D

You have probably already read these, but 2 of my favorites are Ilona Andrew's Kate Daniel series and Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson books. I love how Andrews has also branched off in the Kate Daniels world with Andrea's book, Gunmetal Magic, last year.

I think the cliff-hanger is very mild.
Just to warn you, you will probably end up skimming all the fever books again after reading Iced. That's what I did, even though I re-read them beforehand.

Oh, and as for series: Outlander is my first love [g], and I also really like the Fever series and the Mercy Thompson books as well. I'm currently reading the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost--they're okay so far.

A classic and truly epic series would be The Dark Is Rising. If you've never read it, you're missing out.

Kim Harrison's 'the Hollows' series starring Rachel Morgan is an absolute fave of mine! Also believe it or not I am just getting into some obscure author who wrote a series that starts with 'one for the money' - not sure if you have heard of it yet ;P.

I also really enjoyed the dragon series by Katie MacAllister- I think the first is 'up in smoke'.

we should do lunch sometime and I will catch you up on this 'one for the money' author ;P
